Attendants assist independent, semi-independent, or frail seniors in private residences for seniors. They help with daily living activities, such as moving around or hygiene. In addition, they prevent contamination and ensure residents’ well-being and safety.

- • Situate yourself about the practice of the profession of attendant in a private residence for seniors – 15 hours
- • Infection prevention and contamination – 30 hours
- • Providing first aid (CPR) – 30 hours
- • Provide essential personal assistance services related to activities of daily living – 45 hours
- • Perform unregulated activities related to activities of daily living – 30 hours
- • Adapting your approach to the senior with cognitive, intellectual, or mental health deficits – 15 hours
- • Consider rules and procedures regarding the administration of medication and invasive assistive care – 15 hours
