Formation Hybrid and electric vehicule development

The training topics presented are principles of electricity, current, and voltage. Energy principles: power, energy, efficiency. As well as technology, maintenance, prevention, and repair.

Training content

  • TECHNOLOGY :
  • Analyze the different architectures of electric and hybrid vehicles and know the functioning of their powertrain. Advantages and disadvantages of various models. The mathematics of electric cars. The connection of electric cars and and-in hybrids. The use of an electric vehicle. Operation of heating and air conditioning. Define high voltage components. Working safely. Know the safety requirements for working on or near electric or hybrid cars for electrical operations.
  • TECHNOLOGY :
  • Identify high voltage battery technologies, different charging systems, and modes. Identify traction motor technologies. Analyze the parameters of a high-voltage battery management system. Analyze and control the DATA of the electrical management system.
  • MAINTENANCE :
  • The braking system and its maintenance. The different cooling systems and their maintenance (bleeding method, etc.). Analyze the condition and capacity of the HV battery. Specific maintenance.
  • PREVENTION :
  • Master the safety requirements and the means of preventing electrical risks.
  • REPAIR :
  • • Identify, check, repair, or replace various parts of the high voltage system. Check HV circuits for insulation problems. Check and replace various HV contactors. Diagnose malfunctions and replace sensors and actuators of the electronic engine management system. Analyze the different cells of an HV battery. Learn and set up the vehicle's electronic management system.
